Essa na minha opinião é uma das melhores bandas de Black Metal do mundo,com um som extremo mas que não tem temas de satanismo nem anti-cristianismo Immortal tem em suas letras temas como frio,escuridão,guerras vikings e etc..A banda foi formada em 1989 por Abbath e Demonaz na cidade do Black Metal Bergen, Noruega.
Eles lançaram 10 albuns e alguns estão disponiveis aqui no meu blog para fazer o download.
